Appalachian Chapter ASD

logo Appalachian Chapter of the American Society of Dowsers is a regional dowsing group serving western North Carolina and the South Carolina upstate area.

The chapter was chartered in 1981 as a non-profit educational organization, dedicated to public education about dowsing and intuitive abilities, providing public lectures and training classes covering the broad scope of dowsing techniques.

There will be four chapter meetings in 2012, on the dates shown under Chapter Events. The meeting program is announced in the newsletter and on this website in Chapter Events, which also contains directions to the meeting location. The meeting runs from 1 pm to 4:30 pm, with time available before the program for socializing, from 11:00 to 1:00. There is also a hands-on dowsing tutorial from 11:15 to 12:45.

There are various social gatherings, picnics and field trips throughout the year. Our newsletter, The Wellspring, contains feature articles of interest to dowsers and announcements of events. Past issues of the newsletter are available on this website.

Membership in Appalachian Chapter is $25 per year. Members are entitled to free admission at chapter meetings, and receive the newsletter at no cost. All interested persons are welcome at the meetings; the cost for non-member visitors is $10.
